Hey, AcaFam! I’m Welben James, and I'm excited to be the Production Assistant this year. I was born and raised in Richmond Heights, Ohio, where music has always been a part of my life. My family is deeply rooted in church music, with everyone contributing either by singing in the choir or playing an instrument. I studied piano since the age of eight.

I joined A Cappella Camp in 2017 and attended every year until 2022. I became an intern because I love A Cappella Camp and enjoy meeting new faces. To me, camp is a home away from home. It's exciting to learn and create together, whether you're a student or staff member. Singing outside of church, school, or home makes the experience even more special to me. I can't wait for camp to start so I can meet all of you and sing together. My lifetime goal is to become a world-renowned recording artist and songwriter.
